The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio
Our Customer Experience team thrives on collaboration, working closely with teams across Personio to ensure that customer voices are at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to understanding and advocating for our customers, using data-driven insights to shape our customer experience strategies and influence what we build.
The video team creates engaging video content for the Personio Help Centre, Academy, and Community to help customers learn, solve problems, and get the most value from Personio. As part of our wider content team, you'll produce demos, explainers, webinars, and other educational videos that enable customers to support themselves at scale. Your work will directly contribute to customer success and lifetime value through high-quality visual storytelling.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
Video Editing: Support the team by editing demos, explainers, and webinars under guidance, ensuring clarity and quality for the Help Centre, Academy, and Community.
Production Support: Assist with multi-camera shoot setups including camera operation, teleprompter, lighting, and audio to help capture clean, reliable footage.
Content Capture: Help film interviews and capture B-roll to support the team's various content needs.
Brand Standards: Apply Personio's visual style and brand standards to your edits, working with templates and guidelines created by the Personio Brand team.
Creative Experimentation: Explore new formats and AI-assisted workflows alongside the team to contribute fresh ideas and support continuous creative improvement.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
Enrollment & Availability: You are currently enrolled in a university program (ideally in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field) and available for 15-20 hours per week in Munich.
Video Editing: You have hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and a developing sense of pacing, structure, and narrative clarity in your edits.
Technical Skills: You're comfortable with camera operation (mirrorless cameras), basic audio recording, mic setup, and monitoring to capture quality footage.
Motion Graphics: You have basic After Effects skills for updating templates and incorporating simple motion into edits.
Organization: You maintain strong file-management discipline including clean project structures, version control, and reliable backups.
Collaboration: You're able to self-manage your day-to-day work while actively collaborating with the wider team and taking feedback constructively.
Curiosity & Learning: You have an avid curiosity for new technologies and creative tools, particularly AI-assisted workflows, and are eager to learn and experiment.

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 3 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.

Salary:
Working Students: 20 hours per week; Bachelor 16€ per hour, Masters 17€ per hour
