Personio Appoints Seasoned Finance Leader Tu Nguyen as Chief Financial Officer

Former 1stDibs and Sorare CFO brings extensive European scale-up experience and public markets track record to Europe’s leading HR platform for SMEs

Munich, September 4, 2025: Personio, a leading European HR platform provider for small and medium-sized businesses welcomes Tu Nguyen as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Tu will lead Personio’s global Finance, Legal and Strategy organization and join Personio’s Executive Team, playing a central role in shaping the company’s future growth and long-term financial strategy. 

Tu brings over a decade of experience in building and leading finance organizations through the full scale-up lifecycle. As CFO at 1stDibs in New York, she helped guide the company from a venture-backed e-commerce platform through multiple funding rounds to a successful Nasdaq public listing. More recently, she led finance at Sorare, supporting the company’s European and US expansion.

Tu follows the steps of Birgit Haderer as CFO at Personio, who stepped down as Chief Financial Officer at the end of April to take a personal break while continuing to focus on her supervisory board mandates.
