How does Personio Assistant work?
Everything starts with a question from a user, entered in natural language. As a first step, Personio Assistant checks access controls to see if the user is authorised to see the requested information. If so, Personio Assistant connects to the user’s Personio individual account data to find the answer. This happens by leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to understand the question context and identify the data required to answer. After only a few seconds, the user gets the required information in text format plus a visualisation of the data.
What kind of questions can Personio Assistant answer?
To answer the user’s question, our AI Assistant accesses reporting HR data in Personio. Currently, it connects with People, Time, Compensation and Recruiting metrics and can handle questions related to these topics. Additional reporting and analytics data will be added in the future.
How is it ensured that data can only be accessed for which the user is authorised?
Personio Assistant enforces the access rights you have set up in Personio. This means that only users who have the necessary access rights get the information. For example, a CEO asking about headcount growth will see data for the full company, whereas a manager will only see their team's headcount number.
How is my data protected? Is it shared with third parties?
Your data is hosted by Personio in the EU. Our models are housed in Personio’s Amazon Web Services instance, and data is not shared outside this secure facility. Personio Assistant does not use your data to train any models or features.
How to ask an AI Assistant a question?
Simply type your question in natural language - just like you would ask a colleague. Personio Assistant is your personal AI assistant designed to understand HR-specific queries and uses advanced data analysis to provide insights in seconds.
