People, Workplace & IT
Full Time
London, Munich

Personio's intelligent HR platform helps small and medium-sized organizations unlock the power of people by making complicated, time-consuming tasks simple and efficient. Our team of 1,500 Personios is building user-friendly products that delight our 15,000+ customers and their 1.5 million employees. Ready to make an impact from day one?

Personio is seeking an ambitious Senior Executive Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and take the lead on all Executive hiring. You’ll own and shape our executive hiring strategy end-to-end, partnering closely with our C-suite and senior leaders to bring in the talent that will define Personio’s next chapter.

In this role, you’ll combine high-touch stakeholder partnership with rigorous, structured assessment and proactive market mapping - building credible pipelines and running best-in-class processes that are fast, fair, and candidate-first.

This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in London or Munich.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Drive executive and senior hiring across multiple European markets (Germany, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Spain), navigating market nuances in compliance, compensation, and cultural expectations while maintaining consistency with Personio’s global hiring standards.

  • Partner directly with C-Suite and senior stakeholders to define role scope, success profiles, interview structure, and hiring timelines aligned to strategic business goals.

  • Collaborate with an Executive Sourcer to build proactive pipelines, develop target lists, and execute structured outreach strategies for critical senior roles.

  • Lead structured, data-informed hiring processes from intake through offer, driving timely, high-signal decisions and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience at every stage.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on market intelligence by providing insight on talent availability, competitor movements, compensation benchmarks, and realistic trade-offs for senior hires.

  • Lead candidate engagement and negotiation for complex senior searches, managing expectations, navigating competing offers, and positioning Personio’s long-term vision with credibility.

  • Champion consistency and quality in assessment by supporting calibration sessions, interviewer enablement, and structured debriefs to ensure decisions are fair, evidence-based, and aligned with Personio’s hiring bar.

  • Operate with discretion and professionalism in managing confidential searches and sensitive internal dynamics.

  • Partner cross-functionally with People Business Partners, Legal, and Rewards to ensure compliance and operational excellence in multi-country hiring.

  • Track and report on funnel health and executive hiring metrics, proactively identifying risks, unblocking processes, and improving conversion.

  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives that raise the bar, including interviewer enablement, process design, and employer brand positioning in senior markets.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering full-cycle recruitment for senior roles (Director/VP level) in a fast-paced environment (in-house and/or agency), ideally within scaling tech organisations.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit across a range of functions, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and candidates.

  • Strong ability to operate in a partnered recruiter/sourcer model, including translating role requirements into clear sourcing direction and converting sourced pipelines into hires.

  • High judgement, discretion, and maturity when managing confidential hiring processes and sensitive stakeholder dynamics.

  • Strong structured assessment mindset: able to define success profiles, build interview plans, and support high-quality decision-making.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively, align decision-makers, and drive outcomes without relying on formal authority.

  • Strong candidate management and negotiation skills, with experience closing senior talent in competitive markets.

  • Data-informed and process-oriented, with the ability to diagnose funnel issues and improve speed, quality, and candidate experience.

  • High ownership, resilience, and comfort operating with ambiguity in a scaling, change-heavy environment.

  • Clear, professional communication skills and a strong bar for candidate experience.
