As Senior Lead, RevOps (Compensation), you'll lead a team of 3 full-time employees plus contractors to design and optimize our variable compensation strategy across the entire pre- and post-close organization. You'll own everything from quota setting and management to compensation platform administration and rep plan design, driving continuous improvement through strategic insights and SLT-level presentations. Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
Sales Compensation Strategy & Design: You lead the development and execution of a long-term, scalable sales compensation strategy that aligns with organizational goals, driving revenue growth, talent retention, and a high-performance sales culture through innovative and performance-based incentive programs (e.g., SPIFFs).
Quota Setting & Management: You lead the quota planning process across all revenue segments, balancing ambitious targets with achievable goals to drive performance and motivation.
Platform & Systems Ownership: You manage and optimize our compensation platform and administration processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless integration with our broader RevOps tech stack.
Team Leadership & Development: You hire, coach, and develop a team of 3 full-time employees plus contractors, empowering them to deliver exceptional results and grow in their roles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: You partner with Finance, Revenue Leadership, HR, and other key stakeholders to align compensation plans with company-wide strategy and ensure seamless execution.
Strategic Insights & Reporting: You continuously monitor and analyze compensation plan effectiveness, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team through quarterly reviews to ensure alignment with evolving business goals, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Plan Communication & Change Management: You design and execute communication strategies to ensure sales teams understand their compensation plans, driving clarity, transparency, and trust.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
You have 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, revenue operations, or related fields, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams and compensation strategy in a fast-paced SaaS or B2B environment.
Compensation Design Expertise: You have deep knowledge of sales compensation structures, quota methodologies, and incentive plan design, with a proven track record of building scalable programs that drive performance and retention.
Data-Driven Decision Making: You're highly analytical and skilled at using data to identify trends, measure plan effectiveness, and deliver actionable insights that influence senior leadership decisions.
Leadership & Team Development: You excel at hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, creating an environment where people thrive and deliver exceptional results.
Stakeholder Management: You build strong relationships across Finance, Sales Leadership, HR, and other functions, influencing at all levels from ICs to C-suite and ensuring alignment on complex initiatives.
Systems & Platform Proficiency: You have hands-on experience managing compensation platforms (Everstage, Xactly) and a strong understanding of Salesforce CRM, integrating these tools with broader RevOps tech stacks for seamless administration.
Strategic Communication: You translate complex compensation concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences, from sales reps to the Senior Leadership Team, fostering transparency and trust.

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 3 days required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
