As a key member of our UK&I team, you’ll be the first point of contact for some of the region’s most exciting companies. You don’t need a background in sales—just a passion for learning, strong communication skills, and the drive to make an impact. In this role, you’ll research companies, craft tailored outreach, and connect with decision makers to introduce them to Personio’s intelligent HR platform. The work you’ll do:
Prospect into strategic medium and mid-market accounts via cold call, email and social selling strategies, to achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities and pipeline value
Handling typical outbound sales objections, to remove obstacles from the selling landscape and ensure that opportunities progress
Qualifying potential value drivers and solution fit by engaging with key decision makers to discover pains and company goals
Generate sales pipeline and develop opportunities for a team of Account Executives
Do thorough account and industry research, to maintain and organize an annual book of business
Be a subject matter expert on state-of-the-art HR technology and processes
Develop and execute creative multi-threading strategies for targeting different decision-makers at prospect accounts
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required
Required languages: English fluent written and spoken
First experience in (outbound) sales, ideally within a B2B SaaS Scale-up or an early-stage company
Competitive, curious, resilient and driven – you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
Proactivity, strong communication & problem-solving skills – comfortable handling objections and driving conversations
Strong business acumen is a big plus - being able to speak the language of C-level executives
Experience with our CRM system Salesforce is a plus
Experience with workforce management, HR tech, or cloud solutions is a plus.

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 3 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
