The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in Munich.

We are seeking an IT System Administrator to elevate our IT operations by delivering exceptional end-user support and system enablement. Your expertise in helpdesk management and systems administration will be pivotal to ensuring seamless IT experiences for Personios across all offices, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.


Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • End-User Support & Enablement: You provide daily operational support to all Personios and stakeholders, ensuring seamless IT experiences and quick resolution of technical issues.

  • Helpdesk & Service Management: You monitor and manage our helpdesk operations, ensuring efficient service delivery within defined SLAs and maintaining high user satisfaction.

  • SaaS Administration: You maintain and administer critical SaaS applications including Okta, Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, and Kandji, ensuring optimal performance and security.

  • AV & Event Support: You operate and troubleshoot Audio Visual equipment during live events, meetings, and company gatherings, ensuring seamless technical experiences.

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: You execute and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring new Personios have the tools and access they need from day one.

  • IT Projects & Automation: You assist with key IT projects including identity and access management, device management, and proactively improve automation, security, and processes.

  • Training & Documentation: You develop user training programs for new technologies and maintain comprehensive IT documentation to support knowledge sharing.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have 3+ years as a Systems Administrator with MacOS-based systems in a SaaS-centric environment, ideally with hyper-growth experience.

  • Technical Proficiency: You're proficient in SaaS platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, Slack, Kandji, with hands-on experience in identity and device management, as well as audio visual equipment for video conferencing and live events.

  • Service Management: You have experience working with ticket-based workflow management tools like Jira Service Desk, ensuring structured and efficient support delivery.

  • Communication & Customer Focus: You're fluent in English with excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset, making technical concepts accessible to all users.

  • Problem-Solving: You have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, allowing you to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Autonomy & Prioritization: You effectively manage and prioritize your workload independently, balancing multiple requests and projects with ease.

  • Innovation & Adaptability: You're familiar with AI tools and automation workflows, continuously seeking opportunities to leverage new technologies and improve service delivery.

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 3 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
