The Role
Are you passionate about languages, detail-oriented, and curious about the world of AI-powered translation? We’re looking for a working student to join our team and ensure the highest quality of our German content. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a real impact on our communications and processes, collaborating with experts and learning about localization technology along the way.
What You'll Do
German Content Review:
Carefully review, proofread, and refine all content translated from English to German to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.Translation Management:
Provide high-quality German translations and feedback for our translation partner, Argos.Quality Reporting:
Monitor and report on translation quality, flagging issues and suggesting improvements.Process Collaboration:
Work closely with the Content Operations and Language team to improve translation workflows, including AI-powered tools and large language models (LLMs).(Bonus!) Spanish Translation:
If you have Spanish skills, assist with translation from English to Spanish and review as needed.
What You Need to Succeed
Education:
Currently studying translation, linguistics, language studies, or a related field.Language Skills:
Native-level proficiency in German (written and spoken)
High-level proficiency in English
Spanish skills are a plus!
Technical Interest:
Familiarity with AI-based translation tools and automation (nice to have)
Some knowledge of localization engineering or willingness to learn
Soft skills:
Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills

Salary:
Working Students: 20 hours per week; Bachelor 16€ per hour, Masters 17€ per hour
