Join us to shape the future of software in the underserved and high-impact HR technology industry. Your work will have a direct and tangible impact on customers, offering ownership and the chance to make a meaningful difference. As we prepare for significant growth, you'll face exciting challenges and have the opportunity to influence our path toward becoming one of the world's leading tech companies.

The Senior Systems Integration Specialist is a cornerstone of our Data & Systems department, owning large-scale integrations using Workato as our iPaaS while contributing to TypeScript/React codebases and driving complex Zendesk configurations. You'll architect end-to-end solutions with rare visibility across the business, acting as the go-to technical partner for CX stakeholders and the key liaison for our Technical Program Manager. This role gives you ownership of systems that just work, in an environment that values craft, autonomy, and impact.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do:

  • Integration Architecture: You design, build, and own large-scale integrations across our business systems using Workato as our primary iPaaS platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Front-End Development: You contribute to core TypeScript and React codebases, building user-facing features and internal tools that connect seamlessly with our integration layer.

  • Zendesk Administration & Configuration: You serve as the go-to Zendesk expert, managing complex configurations, custom app development, and deep integrations that empower our Customer Experience teams.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: You act as the primary technical partner for CX stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring alignment across teams.

  • Technical Program Liaison: You partner closely with our Technical Program Manager to drive integration roadmaps, manage dependencies, and communicate progress across engineering and operations.

  • System Ownership & Reliability: You take end-to-end ownership of integration systems, proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing to ensure everything just works.

  • Automation & Process Improvement: You identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and streamline business processes through intelligent system integrations and tooling.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed:

  • You have 3-5+ years of experience in integration engineering, systems administration, or software engineering, with fluency in English (written and spoken) and the ability to work from Berlin, Munich, or Dublin.

  • iPaaS Expertise: You have hands-on proficiency with at least one integration platform (Workato, MuleSoft, Tray, Zapier, n8n, or similar), and understand how to architect scalable, maintainable integration workflows.

  • TypeScript & React Fundamentals: You're comfortable working in a modern front-end codebase, contributing meaningful code and collaborating effectively with product engineers.

  • Zendesk Mastery: You bring deep expertise in Zendesk—either through large-scale implementations, Zendesk Admin certification, or direct experience as a top-tier support engineer on the platform.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: You have a proven track record of managing stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams in highly cross-functional projects, building trust and delivering results.

  • Autonomous Ownership: You drive large, complex projects independently, proactively communicating progress, risks, and decisions to management and stakeholders with minimal oversight.

  • Technical Communication: You can articulate complex technical topics in a simple, clear way for non-technical audiences, bridging the gap between engineering and operations seamlessly.
