Our team of 1,500 Personios is building user-friendly products that delight our 15,000+ customers and their 1.5 million employees. Ready to make an impact from day one?

This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in Munich.

The Tax Advisor Partnerships team sits within Personio's Payroll organisation and builds a network of hand-picked tax advisory firms in Germany who act as preferred Expert Partners. As a Strategic Partner Manager, you'll own a portfolio of partners across the full lifecycle — from acquisition and onboarding to long-term development into high-performing collaborations. Success is measured by partner-sourced Payroll revenue and Expert MRR (sourced and influenced).

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of ~5–10 German tax advisory Expert Partners across the full lifecycle, building trusted relationships and driving joint growth plans.

  • Revenue Growth: Drive partner-sourced Payroll revenue and Expert MRR through repeatable referral and co-selling motions in close collaboration with internal Sales teams and partners.

  • Program & Process Building: Develop and evolve the Expert Partner program in an early-stage environment by shaping playbooks, partner journeys, and scalable operational processes.

  • Quality Control (Partner Services): Ensure partners consistently deliver high-quality payroll services by setting clear expectations, monitoring outcomes, and proactively resolving issues.

  • Quality Management (Internal Experience): Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product to create a seamless internal handover and delivery experience while surfacing feedback to improve partner and customer outcomes.

  • Partner Enablement: Equip partners with the right messaging, materials, and support to confidently position Personio Payroll and the Expert plan, working closely with Marketing and Product teams.

  • Partner Acquisition: Support strategic partner acquisition initiatives by identifying, approaching, and onboarding selected tax advisory firms to expand the Expert Partner network in Germany.
