Personio Promotes Alex Grant and Stephan Micklitz to Personio Executive Team as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Munich, October 8, 2025: Personio, a leading European HR platform provider for small and medium-sized organizations, today announced that Alex Grant and Stephan Micklitz have joined the company’s Executive Team, as Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), respectively. 

Alex has been part of Personio’s product organization for more than five years and steps up from his most recent role as VP Product and Chief of Staff to the CPTO.  In the various roles he’s filled since joining Personio, Alex has led some of the company’s most important strategic initiatives across the product, and the company overall. He is deeply familiar with the diverse needs of Personio’s over 15,000 European customers, and knows the Personio product and the teams working on it inside out.  

As CTO, Stephan will add a strong technological voice to the Executive Team, putting continuous technological innovation and enhancements to Personio’s technological backbone on the top of the company’s agenda.  In his previous role as VP of Engineering at Personio, Stephan led our infrastructure, data and technology platform teams, and spearheaded the complex evolution of the product’s architecture and the continuous improvement of its reliability for a rapidly growing user base.
