This role is based (hybrid) in our Madrid office (remote applicants will not be eligible).

As a Regional Marketing Manager - Spain, you will take full ownership of the marketing strategy and its execution in your region, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across various departments. Acting as the Chief Marketing Officer for your region, your primary responsibility is to adapt and implement the overarching marketing strategy to meet the unique demands, audiences, and market characteristics of your region.

Our overarching objectives are to:

  • Create demand and generate interest.

  • Drive pipeline volume and progression.

  • Build and grow Personio's presence, brand equity, and impact in the region.

While pipeline is our north-star metric, we also prioritize other leading indicators, including engagement and upper-funnel metrics, to ensure comprehensive growth.

You will collaborate across departments, blending owned, earned, and paid channels to execute integrated marketing strategies focused on demand creation, capture and conversion.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop a cohesive and localized marketing strategy that aligns with global objectives and regional needs.

  • Act as a strategic planner who not only sets the direction but also oversees its multi-channel execution in partnership with relevant marketing stakeholders.

  • Ensure marketing activities are goal-oriented and prioritize pipeline creation, growth, and revenue alignment.

Channel Coordination

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all marketing channels, ensuring strategic alignment across teams.

  • Lead integration of owned, earned, and paid channels to optimize funnel performance.

  • Work collaboratively with channel specialists to implement regionally adapted campaigns.

Pipeline Management

  • Own the regional pipeline plan, including its alignment with sales goals and revenue targets.

  • Oversee the full funnel journey of prospects from awareness to conversion.

Market Expertise and Adaptation

  • Be an expert in your region’s market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.

  • Tailor global campaigns to suit regional nuances while maintaining strategic alignment with overall company goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales counterparts, marketing partners, and external vendors.

  • Co-create sales campaigns, integrating lead lifecycle management into broader regional marketing strategies.

Performance Tracking and Optimization

  • Track pipeline and leading indicator metrics to measure and refine the effectiveness of campaigns.

  • Gather and share market insights to enhance planning, execution, and future performance.
