Personio expands board with two leading voices in AI

Munich - June 26, 2026 - Personio, Europe's leading HR and payroll platform for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced the expansion of its board of directors with the appointment of Judith Dada (Co-CEO Langdock) and Darragh Curran (CTO Fin).
Having reached profitability in Q1 2026, Personio now has the foundation to focus on what it sees as the next defining challenge in its industry: AI's transformation of how organisations work, and the role HR plays at the centre of it.
“Judith and Darragh bring direct experience from the centre of the AI shift – one as an AI operator and thought leader driving Europe's AI transformation, the other as a technical leader rebuilding a major software company around AI from the inside. Having that kind of first-hand experience on our board, as we build out our transformation and help our customers navigate theirs, is enormously valuable”, says Hanno Renner, CEO and co-founder of Personio.
The investor turned operator shaping Europe's AI future
Judith Dada is Co-CEO of Langdock, one of Europe's pioneering AI-native companies. She also is a driving force behind Europe's AI transformation. Besides, Dada is a Senior Partner at Visionaries Club, an early investor in Personio. She has backed many of Germany's leading AI companies, including Black Forest Labs, Langfuse, n8n, and Parloa. She advises the German government on AI transformation and was named Investor of the Year at the German Startup Awards in May 2026.
"Europe needs companies that can go all the way. Companies that don't just compete locally but actually lead their category. AI-first tech champions that build depth and scale at the same time,” Dada says. “Personio is exactly the kind of European tech champion we need more of right now."
The engineer who tripled output by going all-in on AI
Darragh Curran is CTO at Fin (formerly Intercom), where he’s been a driving force behind the company's transformation into an AI-first business. Under his technical leadership, Fin rebuilt its business around AI and tripled its R&D output within 16 months, by going all-in on AI-driven development. The transformation has become one of the most closely followed examples of how established software companies can reinvent themselves for the AI era.
"What stands out to me about Personio is how seriously they’re taking AI as a fundamental shift in how companies work and how it’s influencing HR,” says Curran. “This is the mindset that separates companies that thrive in this transition from those that get left behind, and I’m looking forward to being part of that journey.”
