Connecting Silicon Valley and Munich: New VP of Engineering at Personio Brings Expertise from Uber and Salesforce

Munich, December 3, 2019 – Personio (www.personio.com), a holistic HR software for small and medium-sized companies, is gaining many years of Silicon Valley expertise with Sebastian Enderlein on board as the new VP of Engineering. Enderlein will be taking on responsibility for all software development at the company, as well as for the development of the 80 people strong engineering side of the organization. He will be instrumental in achieving Personio’s vision of becoming Europe’s leading provider of HR software for SMEs. 

Enderlein comes to Personio from Uber, where he has been responsible for developer experience since 2015, most recently as head of cloud infrastructure. In his four years with the ride-sharing company, which is one of the fastest growing companies in the world, he gained particular experience in scaling teams and creating frameworks for a large engineering organization. Previously, he held various positions at CRM vendor Salesforce. Among other achievements, Enderlein was involved in establishing the first cloud team there, helping the brand on its way to becoming a market leader in cloud-based corporate applications. Before joining Salesforce, he worked for the German software manufacturer SAP.
