As our Senior Specialist, Employer Branding, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Personio’s employer brand strategy, ensuring we are recognized as an employer of choice for diverse, values-driven talent across Europe.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the charge in bringing our employer value proposition (EVP) to life, driving awareness, and elevating how we communicate our culture and opportunities to prospective candidates. As a one-person team (supported by a working student), you’ll take full ownership of our employer branding efforts, with a focus on hands-on execution, collaboration, and measurable impact.
Your Mission
1. Build and Execute Personio’s Employer Brand Strategy
Own the development and execution of Personio’s employer branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with our broader Talent Acquisition and People strategies.
Translate our EVP into compelling narratives, campaigns, and content that resonate with diverse audiences across Europe and the US.
Develop a roadmap for employer branding activities, balancing long-term strategic goals with immediate execution priorities.
2. Drive Candidate Attraction and Awareness
Design and deliver impactful recruitment marketing campaigns to attract top talent, particularly in competitive markets like Tech and Sales.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify key hiring priorities and create tailored campaigns for high-priority roles and regions.
Leverage data and insights to refine messaging and optimize campaigns for maximum reach and engagement.
3. Strengthen Personio’s Reputation as an Employer of Choice
Manage and enhance our presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Kununu, and other relevant channels, ensuring consistent and authentic representation of our culture and values.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Comms, and Design) to amplify our employer brand through storytelling, events, and partnerships.
Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all candidate-facing materials (e.g., job descriptions, career site) reflect our EVP and commitment to inclusivity.
4. Empower Advocacy Across the Organization
Activate and enable employees as brand ambassadors by creating tools, resources, and opportunities for them to share their Personio stories.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure they can confidently pitch Personio’s unique value proposition to candidates.
Build relationships with external partners and communities to extend Personio’s reach and influence in key talent markets, including hosting meetups and events in our offices.
5. Measure and Optimize for Impact
Define and track key metrics to measure the success of employer branding efforts, including campaign performance, candidate engagement, and brand perception.
Continuously experiment with new ideas and approaches to keep Personio’s employer brand innovative and competitive.
Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in across the organization.
About You
Experienced & Strategic: You bring 6+ years of relevant experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of designing and executing impactful campaigns.
Creative Storyteller: You have a knack for crafting compelling narratives and translating complex ideas into engaging, candidate-friendly content.
Hands-On Executor: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, rolling up your sleeves to deliver results while balancing multiple priorities.
Data-Driven: You are adept at using data and insights to inform decisions, measure success, and continuously improve.
Collaborative Partner: You excel at building relationships and working cross-functionally with teams like Talent Acquisition, Comms and Design.
Inclusive & Values-Driven: You are passionate about creating inclusive messaging and experiences that reflect Personio’s commitment to diversity and equity.
Confident Communicator: You are fluent in German and English, confident in verbal and written form.
