The Role: MLOps Engineer (Mid-to-Senior)

We’re hiring an MLOps Engineer to join our Data Platform Engineering team and contribute to our AI & ML platform. You’ll help build the internal infrastructure and tooling that allows our data scientists and AI engineers to deploy machine learning models safely, quickly, and at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to our ML Ops Platform – Help build and improve the systems that enable model deployment, observability, and governance.

  • Work hands-on with infra and code – Contribute using Python, TypeScript, Terraform, CDK, and tools like Snowflake, SageMaker, Databricks.

  • Collaborate widely – Partner with stakeholders in data science, analytics, and engineering to align requirements and deliver impactful tools.

  • Define best practices – Help shape how ML infrastructure is built and operated at Personio.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of software/platform/data engineering experience

  • Exposure to production-grade ML model deployment and operations

  • Familiarity with infra-as-code tools like Terraform or CDK

  • Solid coding skills in Python and/or TypeScript

  • Experience with cloud platforms (ideally AWS) and data systems like Snowflake or Databricks

  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to work in a new and evolving area
