Full Time
Munich, Berlin, Dublin

Personio's intelligent HR platform helps small and medium-sized organizations unlock the power of people by making complicated, time-consuming tasks simple and efficient. Our team of 1,500 Personios is building user-friendly products that delight our 15,000+ customers and their 1.5 million employees. Ready to make an impact from day one?

The Role Introduction: “The Role”

Our Customer Experience team thrives on collaboration, working closely with teams across Personio to ensure that customer voices are at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to understanding and advocating for our customers, using data-driven insights to shape our customer experience strategies and influence what we build.

As our Content Development Lead (d/f/m) - FTC 12 Months, you'll take ownership of a team of four Content Developers — the people who make sure customers have accurate, useful content to navigate every Personio release. This is a fixed-term role covering a period of parental leave. The primary focus is on keeping the team stable, aligned, and performing to a high standard: strong people leadership, clear process management, and effective cross-functional coordination. A permanent postholder will return to the role, so the emphasis here is on continuity and consistency rather than reinvention.

This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in Munich, Dublin, or Berlin.

Role Responsibilities: “What You’ll Do”

  • Own team management, including regular 1:1s, coaching, performance management, and development conversations with your four Content Developers.

  • Maintain team processes, content standards, and quality benchmarks across the release cycle, identifying gaps that need structure without over-engineering.

  • Serve as the primary interface between the Content Developer team and internal partners (Release Management, Product Management, CX Operations), managing cross-functional dependencies and keeping work moving.

  • Own content development responsibility for assigned product areas, producing high-quality content for releases and providing team coverage during PTO.

  • Own team reporting and metrics, tracking output quality and release coverage, and surfacing insights that inform prioritization and planning.

  • Model active use of AI tools within the team's content workflow as a natural part of day-to-day work.

  • Drive critical cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholder alignment, and dependencies across teams while coordinating Content Developer involvement.

Role Requirements: “What You Need to Succeed”

  • Experience leading a content team with direct people responsibility and a track record of coaching and developing others fairly and consistently.

  • Active use of AI tools in content development workflows — you've found practical applications and can help your team adopt them without making it a transformation project.

  • Strong process management instincts and strategic thinking for continuous improvement — able to maintain and enhance team workflows while holding standards accountable.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and comfort in agile product environments, confidently navigating competing demands across Product, Engineering, and CX.

  • Hands-on content creation background — enough to own development, provide credible feedback, assess quality, and step in when needed.

  • Strong English communication skills; German or other additional languages are a plus but not required. Why Personio
