Personio's intelligent HR platform helps small and medium-sized organizations unlock the power of people by making complicated, time-consuming tasks simple and efficient. Our team of 1,500 Personios is building user-friendly products that delight our 15,000+ customers and their 1.5 million employees. Ready to make an impact from day one?

This role requires you to be in the Munich office three days per week.

Partner Management at Personio is more than just building out our partner network—it is an integral part of our growth strategy! The Partnerships team develops our partner network across Europe, expanding its reach and depth to generate business for Personio, deepening Personio's product value through integrations and joint solutions, and strengthening our brand through long-term relationships.

This role sits in our Tech Partnerships lane, where technical depth meets commercial impact. As Senior Technical Partner Manager DACH, you'll own the technical and integration relationship with a portfolio of strategic tech and marketplace partners — turning integrations into a real product advantage and a reliable source of partner-influenced pipeline. This is a non-quota-carrying role, but it is not a back-office one: you'll be a visible, trusted counterpart for senior stakeholders at partner organizations, a driver of cross-functional alignment inside Personio, and a voice that shapes what we build next.

You'll work in close partnership with our Commercial Tech Partnership Managers, Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing — and, because so much of this role runs through German-speaking partners and internal stakeholders in DACH, fluent German is essential.

If you enjoy the technical side of partnerships as much as the relationship side — scoping an integration, managing a launch to a measurable outcome, and then standing in front of a partner's leadership team to talk about what's next — this role is for you.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Own the integration lifecycle end-to-end. Take partner integrations from initial technical assessment through build, QA, and go-live, and manage delivery of a successful launch with measurable customer and/or business outcomes — owning your projects from start to finish and caring about the quality of what ships, in an increasingly cross-functional context.

  • Set direction and optimize how we work. Own initiatives and processes across your partner portfolio, make the tactical calls needed to keep them moving through complexity, and role-model the Personio Principles in how you work with internal and external teams.

  • Lead with data, not just instinct. Autonomously pull in and interpret partner, product and market data to inform your priorities and roadmap, proactively surface data nobody asked you to look at, and always be able to explain the "why" behind a decision.

  • Build and use a real network. Cultivate a wide internal and external network, actively trade learnings across it, and adapt how you communicate to fit stakeholders ranging from an engineer to a partner's managing director.

  • Be the trusted counterpart for senior partner stakeholders. Navigate complex partner organizations independently and establish yourself as a credible, respected voice with senior stakeholders — including owners and leaders at larger partner firms — leading conversations with large external groups and presenting confidently to large audiences.

  • Drive commercial outcomes alongside the business. Support Sales and Commercial Partnership Managers in hitting their targets by designing and driving larger commercial initiatives around your integrations — co-sell motions, joint campaigns, activation pushes — even though you don't carry a number yourself.

  • Read the market and shape what we build. Understand and clearly categorize partner needs and market trends, and turn that into clear hypotheses that influence Personio's product direction and strategy.

  • Operate autonomously. Manage risk and dependencies across your projects with little need for outside help, escalating early and cleanly when something genuinely needs it.

  • Recommend what's next. Don't wait to be told what to prioritize — proactively bring forward the next project worth tackling, and make the case for why.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Relevant experience: 5+ years in a technical partner management, solutions engineering, developer relations, or partner integration role, ideally in B2B SaaS.

  • Technical fluency: Comfortable in both technical and commercial conversations — you can assess an integration's technical fit, work with API/webhook-level detail alongside Engineering, and just as easily represent it to a partner's business stakeholders.

  • Program/project management skills: Proven ability to plan and drive complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives — sequencing work, tracking dependencies and risks, and holding Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and partner teams to a shared timeline without having formal authority over any of them.

  • Proven delivery track record: A track record of managing integration or product partnership launches from scoping to go-live, with clear, measurable outcomes.

  • Independent stakeholder management: Experience building trusted, senior-level relationships with partner organizations, including owners or leaders at larger firms, without needing a title or authority to back it up.

  • Data-driven decision-making: Comfortable sourcing and using data autonomously to prioritize your own roadmap and defend your decisions.

  • Executive presence: Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience leading conversations with larger external and internal groups and presenting to senior or large audiences.

  • Ownership mentality: You take projects from start to finish, hold yourself to a high bar on quality, and don't need to be chased.

  • Language & mobility: Fluent in German and English (spoken and written), with willingness to travel within DACH.
