We’re hiring a Team Lead (d/f/m), Account Executives in Munich. You’ll lead a team of SMB AEs, translate strategy into weekly execution, and drive predictable results through coaching, high standards and a strong operating cadence in our high-velocity HR and Payroll sales environment.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
Leadership Lead, develop and retain a high-performing team of approx. 8 SMB Account Executives in Germany with clear, consistent role and deal standards
Hiring Scale the team through structured hiring, proactive talent pipelining and strong onboarding
Coaching Deliver structured 1:1s and skill coaching based on real deal and call observations with clear development plans
Operating cadence Run a predictable weekly rhythm across forecast, pipeline, deal reviews and coaching to drive focus and accountability
Deal execution Improve win rates by driving win plans, mutual action plans and stakeholder strategies while coaching at leverage points
Performance and KPIs Consistently deliver monthly and quarterly targets through disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting
Data and improvement Use data to improve conversion, time to sell, ARPA and team productivity by turning insights into repeatable mechanisms
Performance management Set a high bar, address underperformance early and create a healthy, motivating performance culture
Strategy and collaboration Partner with Sales Leadership, SDR and Marketing to execute SMB GTM priorities and translate them into clear team focus areas
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
3+ years B2B new business AE experience plus 1+ year leadership or coaching responsibility
Consistent quota overachievement with accurate, explainable forecasting
Proven hiring, onboarding and development of AEs with clear ramp and coaching cadence
SaaS or B2B tech sales background
Strong outbound pipeline generation and repeatable pipeline habits across a team
Understanding of modern software sales processes and experience with qualification methods such as MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or similar
Strong SMB buying process knowledge including stakeholder management and basic IT landscape awareness
Fluent German and English with clear, transparent cross functional communication

At Personio, we value in-person collaboration while also offering flexibility. This role is office-based, with 3 days per week required in your contracted office location. The remaining days can be worked from home or in the office if you prefer. In addition, you’ll have 20 Flex Days per year to work remotely from other locations.
