This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in Amsterdam.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for the Benelux region, you'll be the initial point of contact for our most strategic prospect accounts, you will play a pivotal role in driving Personio’s growth. Leveraging thorough account and industry research, you will develop and deliver tailored messaging that resonates with key stakeholders across different regions and sectors. Your industry expertise will inspire and engage decision makers, opening doors, identifying opportunities, and initiating high-impact HR transformation projects that set the foundation for long-term partnerships.

The work you’ll do:

  • Prospecting: Engage strategic accounts via cold call, email, and social selling to achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities and pipeline value

  • Winning the room: Address typical outbound sales pushback, remove obstacles, and keep opportunities moving forward with confidence.

  • Qualification: Engage key decision makers to discover pains and company goals, assessing value drivers and solution fit

  • Pipeline generation: Build sales pipeline and develop opportunities for a team of Account Executives

  • Account research: Conduct thorough account and industry research to maintain and organize an annual book of business

  • Subject matter expertise: Stay current on state-of-the-art HR technology and processes

  • Multi-threading: Develop and execute creative strategies for targeting different decision-makers at prospect accounts

What we're looking for

  • Experience: 6+ months of outbound sales experience in B2B SaaS, tech, or cloud solution sales

  • Languages: Fluency in Dutch & English required

  • Mindset: Competitive, resilient, and highly driven - you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Skills: Proactivity, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ambition: Drive to build a successful career in sales

  • Domain knowledge: Experience with workforce management, HR tech, or cloud solutions is a plus

  • Business acumen: Ability to speak the language of senior executives is a plus
