This role is office based (hybrid) in Dublin and will be limited until February 2028 (maternity leave cover).

If you are driven by vast, untapped market potential, a career at Personio will fast-track your ambitions. One year with us compresses years of professional growth into a single high-impact environment.

In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of customer needs to scale a transformative HR platform. Join our passionate Dublin team as Team Lead for Sales Development, where you will mentor top sales talent, shape the future of work, and drive exceptional customer experiences.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of SDRs - running regular 1:1s, structured development plans, and skills coaching (qualification, prospecting, objection handling) to build capability and progression.

  • Build a strong coaching culture that puts the customer at the heart of every interaction, modelling and reinforcing customer-centric behaviours through call reviews and feedback.

  • Drive performance through people, not just process - using 1:1s, forecasting conversations, and targeted coaching to support consistent achievement of weekly/monthly/quarterly goals.

  • Champion AI adoption within the team - embedding tools to automate research and manual admin tasks, freeing up reps to focus on customer conversations and building genuine connections.

  • Develop and execute pipeline generation strategies to align with our sales objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and account executives teams to create a seamless and cohesive approach to pipeline creation and closing.

  • Identify ideal customer profiles and key decision-makers to enhance targeting strategies.

  • Use data (CVR, activity, pipeline metrics) to diagnose individual and team development needs, not just to report on numbers.

  • Actively participate in recruitment and ramp planning to ensure new hires are set up to succeed.

  • Foster a high-performance, growth-oriented culture - setting clear expectations, giving regular feedback, and creating space for continuous learning.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have 3+ years of sales experience in B2B SaaS new customer acquisition. Note, this is a purely outbound role.

  • Proven success in developing and implementing demand generation programs for inside and field sales organisations.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using Salesforce, Gong Engage and Claude.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both within the team and with colleagues and customers.

  • A deep understanding of software, sales processes, and have been trained on MEDDICC or Force Management Command of the Message.

  • A track record of accurate forecasting and consistently exceeding monthly recurring goals.
