Personio's intelligent HR platform helps small and medium-sized organizations unlock the power of people by making complicated, time-consuming tasks simple and efficient. Our team of 1,500 Personios is building user-friendly products that delight our 15,000+ customers and their 1.5 million employees. Ready to make an impact from day one?

This role requires 3 days per week in the office and is based in Dublin, Munich, or Berlin.

Personio's Revenue Enablement team is building the next generation of sales readiness infrastructure — a diagnostic system that connects Gong call data, CRM signals and learning history to individual skill gaps, and closes those gaps with targeted content and coaching in the flow of work.

The Enablement Architect is the dedicated owner of the enablement side of that build. You will design and maintain the competency framework and skills rubric that anchors the entire system, own the content architecture that makes knowledge AI-readable, and serve as Enablement's standing representative in the joint architecture project with RevOps and Data & Systems. This is a senior individual contributor role at the intersection of enablement, information architecture and AI-powered GTM — a rare opportunity to build something entirely new at a company defining what modern revenue enablement looks like.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Own the competency framework: Design and maintain a calibrated framework that defines roles, skills and what great looks like at Personio. This is the fixed point the entire diagnostic layer measures against — covering AE, AM and BDR audiences and expressed in a format the data model can be trained on.

  • Build and maintain Gong scorecards: Define the behavioural rubric for each audience, own the calibration process, and ensure per-rep skill scores are consistent, defensible and grounded in Personio’s commercial methodology.

  • Lead content architecture and taxonomy: Own the metadata schema and tagging standards across Confluence and Trumpet. Identify and close content gaps where a skill gap exists but no tagged content is available to address it.

  • Drive the Data & Systems partnership: Be Enablement’s standing representative in joint architecture working sessions with RevOps and Data & Systems. Translate between enablement requirements and engineering constraints in both directions, and own the feedback loop that ensures identified gaps are closed by the right learning intervention.

  • Maintain cross-team coherence: Ensure the competency framework used by Business Partners, the Learning Experience Designer, the Data & Systems model and the coaching framework are the same one — proactively, not reactively.

  • Lead on AI-driven cross-functional initiatives: Be the first port of call for any AI-driven initiative from RevOps, Data & Systems or GTM that requires Enablement input on skills, readiness or content architecture.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Information architecture instincts: You can design taxonomies, metadata schemas and structured frameworks that are consistent, scalable and machine-parseable. This is the core of the job.

  • Content governance discipline: You have strong editorial judgement, comfort with standards and schema design, and the ability to build and enforce tagging conventions across a team.

  • Technical fluency: You understand how AI systems consume structured knowledge, can hold an informed conversation with engineers about what the content layer needs, and can evaluate whether a proposed architecture will produce the output the system requires. Coding skills are not required. Experience working with Gong.

  • Cross-functional credibility: You are comfortable operating in working sessions with data engineers, RevOps leads and senior sales stakeholders without needing translation in either direction.

  • Comfort with ambiguity: You can make meaningful progress in conditions of incomplete information and evolving requirements. Phase 1 is a build, and the architecture will not be fully defined on day one.

  • Understanding of adult learning and sales methodology: You know what a competency framework needs to capture to be useful for coaching, and what a sales play needs to contain to be useful for AI consumption. Comfort working with tools like Salesforce, Gong, LMS and CMS providers.
